Father's Day

It seems a fitting tribute for Father's Day to my amazing Grandpap, our Dads, and, naturally, my kid's wonderful Daddy, to spend June showcasing some of the amazing projects they have accomplished around our house in the last couple years. Thanks, men, for all of the things you do!
(Disclaimer: Plenty of help was contributed by the women in the family, of course, who are equally amazing in their own right, but there is another month for that!)
Today we'll start with an overview of our "new" 100 year old farmhouse, the day we moved in.

Beautiful, right? You are probably thinking (or remember thinking, if you were there!) "What were they thinking!" It gets better -- the house had no heat when we moved in in November. Actually, we had a professional install a new heat pump/ac unit, supposedly before we moved in, although it wasn't completed until February.

But the house had lots of potential, and we had the vision (and stupidity) to see what it could be like. Keep in mind that we were working with no money, having spent everything we had on our first house! Also keep in mind that our growing family is rapidly growing out of our little newlywed nest. Still, we love it. Want to see what we've come up with, thanks to a little creativity, and several amazing dads?!
